My faith in Jesus is the root of who I am, and investing in others comes so naturally. Before I became a full time photographer, I was an occupational therapist assistant in a nursing home. But at my core, I am a wife and mother of two beautiful kiddos.

Hey, I'm Lauren!
My husband (Nate) and I first met in college back in 2008, while on a date with different people. Yep, you read that right! We ran into each other several days later, and well, the rest is history. We were engaged in 2012 and married in 2013. We bought our first home in 2015, and three months later found out I was pregnant with our daughter (Addilyn). We had Addilyn in 2016 and 2018, along came our son (Rhett). Our kids are only 19 months apart, so you can imagine what life was like for a while. In 2022 we purchased our forever home, and I was able to fulfill my dream of creating a studio space. What a blessing it is to do life with these three beautiful souls that I get to call my own!

Depth is so valuable to me. When given the opportunity to meet someone new, I relish in the opportunity to probe them with questions. Getting to know someone for who they are on the inside is so important. I believe there is so much to learn from others.
It is not uncommon for new clients to tell me that they feel like we've known each other for years. During my sessions, I am constantly asking questions. This is my way of getting to know you, but also to help you feel comfortable with me and in turn look relaxed and natural in your photos.
