MY BACKGROUND

MY APPROACH
Be prepared to chat about life and have a blast! My sessions are engaging and fun. I always choose a location that allows us to walk to several spots, which helps the kiddos get some wiggles out. In order to capture the best smiles, I tend to take more photos than I need to so that I don't miss your child's most genuine smiles. I also coach you on how to pose in the most flattering ways, and provide prompts in order to create those gorgeous candid moments. I am always just an email away if you need wardrobe advice!
WHAT SETS ME APART
As your family photographer, my job is to put you at ease from the moment we first connect. I pride myself on my organizational skills and customer service. On our session day, my goal is to make you as comfortable as possible. I am flexible by nature, and never surprised by an unruly toddler, wardrobe malfunction, or temperamental weather. We will create beautiful memories of your family no matter what life throws our way! The details matter, which is why I hand edit each final image to remove stray hairs and blemishes.

Once we mutually feel we are a right fit and select a session date/time, I will create a personal booking page for you! Once you sign my contract and pay your retainer, you are officially on the schedule!
I encourage you to formally book your session ASAP. I only book a select number of family sessions per month.

Once you are formally booked, I will send over a questionnaire to gather some details. This is also my way of discovering your vision for your images so that I can begin planning. I am also happy to give wardrobe suggestions or advice, so feel free to shoot me an email when you begin planning your outfits.

Your family portrait session will be laid back and fun! We will have plenty of time to let the kids get some wiggles out as we walk to a few different locations. Don't stress about feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera - you are not alone! I will coach you along the way to ensure your poses are flattering and natural. If your toddler wants nothing to do with taking photos, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to achieve those photos you desperately desire. We can do this, mama!
Your Portrait Session
Your gallery of high resolution, hand-edited digital images will be ready for you to view no more than 3 weeks following your session. You are given two weeks to select the digital images, prints, albums, and wall art that you want to purchase. All selections and purchases can be made from the comfort of your home, so no need to schedule another in-person appointment with me.

Family Portrait Sessions From $500
When booking a session with me, ultimately you are investing in priceless memories. Your paid session fee includes my time and talent, my professional equipment, pre-session communication/consultation, the time we spend together during your session, post processing/editing of your images, and product design. No images are included in your session fee.
