As a Columbus Newborn Photographer, I’ve picked up the unique skill of being able to set up a mini studio right in my client’s home!
I first met Tiffany & David when they contacted me to shoot their maternity & gender reveal photos at Highbanks Metro Park. We connected with each other instantly in a way that felt as if we had known one another for years. So when baby Hudson made his arrival into the world, I was beyond happy to pack up all of my photography equipment to capture his in-home newborn session!
When I pack up to shoot an in-home newborn session, I bring along literally all of my newborn photography equipment. This allows me to set up a mini studio right in the comfort of your home. Which recreates the same experience you would expect to receive from an in-studio session. I usually bring along a beanbag poser, several backdrop options, swaddles, props, a space heater, and a heartbeat machine! My goal as your Columbus Newborn Photographer is to make the process as laid back and straightforward as possible. And that’s because I understand the concerns that can come along with trying to plan a session for your newborn. Knowing that you don’t have to leave your home with your new baby while trying to work around a feeding or sleep schedule allows us to approach your session in a way that works for you. All in all, shifting our time and focus on capturing those timeless memories.
This approach worked out especially well for baby Hudson who was such a little champ during his session! He slumbered away sweetly nearly the entire time! However, when we were about halfway through the shoot he knew it was bottle time. But, I (happily) offered to feed him so that Mom and Dad could enjoy a quiet lunch together. During his session, Hudson gave me a tiny sleepy smirk and a great big newborn stretch when we unswaddled him! It was so precious, scroll through the blog below to see every moment.
