This Highbanks Metro Park Maternity Session was such a joyful experience! As a maternity photographer in Columbus Ohio, I am always scouting locations for my clients. It’s important that I pair my families with locations that will serve them well in celebrating those treasured moments. While Highbanks Metro Park is known for its hiking trails there are plenty of secluded locations throughout the park that allowed the privacy needed to capture this moment.
I met Tiffany & David for the first time during this combined maternity and gender reveal photoshoot. The three of us clicked with one another instantly! What made Tiffany and David’s session such an exceptionally joyful experience is the unique touch they added to our time together. In a very modern way, mom and dad to be found a way to include their family in their photoshoot. During the gender reveal portion of their session, they had their phones set up on tripods with family members on facetime! Isn’t that such a great way to include your family in your gender reveal? It gives them a front-row seat to the big reveal while still allowing for you and your partner to celebrate somewhat privately. It was truly such an honor for me to capture this special moment for them!

The look of surprise on their faces was priceless and full of excitement. Up until that moment, both Tiffany and David were convinced that the baby was going to be the opposite gender!
