Being a Columbus Newborn Photographer means spending my days with sweet babies like Andrew! It also means packing up all of my gear (swaddles, props, heartbeat machine, and space heaters!) to bring along for the ride. Being allowed access into a family’s home during one of the most unforgettable moments in their life is truly an honor for me. I know that welcoming a new baby into your family is such a blessing and a momentous life occasion. Which is a huge reason why I love offering these in-home newborn sessions to my clients. It allows families to relax and stay put with their sweet baby. Because how stressful is it trying to leave the house with a newborn?!
I was beyond thrilled when new parents Katelyn and Mike contacted me to be their Columbus Newborn Photographer! They allowed me into their home to capture their sweet boy Andrew, who just made his arrival into the world. I truly believe that being in the comfort of your home leads to a much more relaxed experience for your shoot. And feeling relaxed makes all the difference in your photos. The camera that’s pointed in your direction? You are no longer thinking about it! Instead, you are too busy soaking up all of the tenderness of your cuddly newborn.

When you lay eyes on baby Andrew, your heart is going to be filled with pure joy! He has a full head of fluffy newborn hair, the tiniest toes, and wrinkles and creases in all the right places! I don’t it’s possible for him to be any cuter! For his shoot, I worked with a variety of soft swaddles and blankets in blues and neutral tones.
