Last fall, this beautiful family reached out to me to be their Columbus Ohio Family Photographer!
Friends that become clients (or the other way around) are truly such a blessing! I first met the “W” family at Vista Community Church in Dublin, Ohio over six years ago. My family is in the same stage of life as they are with little ones running around at home! And, three out of the four of us have education degrees. Isn’t that such a crazy coincidence? Needless to say, we clicked with them almost instantly. In fact, when my husband and I made the decision to transition to a different church, we continued to remain in touch with this special family.
So when they reached out and asked if they could book their fall family photos, I was overjoyed! They expressed their love for loved my work, and above all they trusted me to work with their four littles to capture this beautiful stage in their life.

Regardless of the length of time I spend with my families during their sessions, I love being able to provide them with a wide variety of photos. And I always go out of my way to pull mom and dad aside and take a few shots of them without the children present. I know that many parents are so busy putting their kids first in their lives. So I believe that it’s extra important to take a few seconds, just for them, to highlight the love that they share!
Oftentimes, Mom will share with me that she is almost always the one behind the camera and doesn’t have many photos of herself with the children.
