In an hour-long guided tour group, you can watch the start-to-finish process of Anthony Thomas candy being made right in front of your eyes! During your hour-long tour, you’ll catch a glimpse of 9 different confections being made out of over 30,000 pounds of chocolate! Science, technology, and industry meet in a museum setting for an outing full of wonder. Exhibits at COSI include their big science park, energy, gadgets, farm, ocean, space, and everything in between! 4) Otherworld

Otherworld is a fully immersive art experience. At Otherworld, you’ll find over 40 scenes of large-scale art and mixed reality playgrounds. The amazing thing about an adventure at Otherworld is that they encourage their visitors to explore and interact with each and every experience. Which makes it perfect for curious little hands! As far as indoor activities in Columbus go, it’s one you won’t want to miss!

5) Graeters Scoops and Shoots Indoor Playground

If you have littles that get restless inside during the cold months, Graeters Scoops and Shoots Indoor Playground is a wonderful place to run loose and let out some energy! Graeters play area is best suited for children aged 9 and younger. And yes, the scoops in their name means that you can grab a scoop of ice cream after running around their play area!

6) Better Together Playnasium

A safe, inclusive, sensory-friendly environment, Better Together Playnasium focuses on bringing together children of all abilities. You can bring the kids to attend open play which includes access to their Playnasium, as well as their large gym. Playnasium is best suited for children aged 10 and under, but there is no age limit or cutoff for children of all abilities.

7) Momi Land

The oversized ball pit is where it’s at in Momi Land! And yes, it’s as awesome as it sounds! Momi Land offers open play for their ball pit, trampolines, slides, and playrooms. It’s a fun pastel-colored daydream of a place to let all the “wiggles” out. I recommend checking out their monthly memberships for those super cold months when you just can’t make it outside with the kids.

8) Central Ohio Fire Museum & Learning Center

This museum is a beautiful place where you can explore the firefighters of the past, present, and future. Here, you’ll see relics like hand-drawn and horse-drawn “fire trucks”. You’ll also get a look inside a real-life engine house and learn about what a full day as a firefighter looks like. There are activities for guests of all ages, including resources on fire safety education.

9) Pins Mechanical

If the name made you think “bowling”, well you’d only be half right! Pins Mechanical is known for its vast collection of pinball machines, foosball, ping pong play, and bocce ball! You’ll also find a selection of libations (for the adults, of course!) and a variety of on going events and specials.

I think one of the amazing things about indoor activities in Columbus is that there is no shortage of things to do! Fun In The Jungle is an indoor play place, mini bowling, arcade, and putt putt for kids. There is a toddler-safe play zone, as well as one for the big kids. Everything at Fun in The Jungle is made for little hands, it’s so cute!

11) We Rock The Spectrum

We Rock The Spectrum provides a sensory safe environment for children to have fun playing and exploring!  We rock offers open play drop-ins for their gym equipment and craft area. Additionally, you can purchase a set number of visits. I don’t know about you, but I love all the classics! Skee Ball, Frogger, Donkey Kong; you’ll find them all at 16-Bit Arcade! They have over 40 classic arcade games to play on their floor. If you are dying to introduce the kids to the original Ms. Pacman, then, hands down, there is truly no other arcade for you!

13) Ninja Citi Adventure Park

Ninja Citi is an insanely fun, family entertainment center, and high on the top of the list of indoor activities in Columbus! But, it’s definitely a lot more active than just sitting back while the kids play! Yes, they have an arcade. But, Ninja Citi’s biggest draw for some indoor fun is its trampolines, its parkour area, the rock wall, and its 12 ninja courses! 14) Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park

Located in Dublin, Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park is not just a trampoline park! It’s a full adventure park where children and families can jump, climb, play mini golf, laser tag, and even go indoor skydiving. And that’s not even everything they offer! It’s really the ultimate indoor adventure and you and your family could easily spend the entire day here and have fun every single moment!

15) Movement Lab Ohio

Movement Lab in Ohio is another great indoor obstacle course! Much like Ninja Citi, at Movement Lab Ohio, you’ll find obstacle courses, race training, and parkour! A bowling alley with a game room, a restaurant, and HDTV to watch sports? Yes, please! Star Lanes is a rainy-day go-to for our family and it’s everything we love about a classic bowling experience, mixed with modern-day amenities. Star Lanes also has a theme park-worthy 4D theatre attraction in their building! It’s an action-style movie adventure, and you’ll def want to bring a friend. They call it the “Dark Ride” and it’s a fun indoor experience you won’t forget!
