This sweet family is celebrating the arrival of their baby boy, Ishaan. As a Columbus OH baby photographer, I had such a joyous time capturing their entire family. Including, Mom, Dad, and now big sister Layla!
It’s not uncommon for families celebrating the arrival of their sweet baby to have toddler-aged siblings as well. Oftentimes, families want to capture their littles together at this sweet, tender stage. But, we all know, toddlers pretty much call the shots in any family! So I work fast and keep an open mind. I also have my assistant by my side during the shoot to keep adventurous toddler siblings entertained & engaged!
Big sister Layla was definitely ready to get up and go, but not before I made sure to get the entire family smiling and looking directly at the camera. It’s no easy task! Needless to say, we made it happen and the whole family looked so chic in their all-white wardrobe and Layla with an adorable bow in her hair. Once the group shots were complete, Dad whisked Layla off to the park so she could get the wiggles out. And I was ready to focus my attention on sweet little Ishaan.

This little boy slumbered so peacefully during the shoot. For all the snuggles and forehead kisses he received that day, he was happy to spend each moment in dreamland. My studio in Columbus OH is all white; as a baby photographer, I love how the crisp white aesthetic lends itself to the innocence of tender newborns. It shifts the focus of your photos to rest squarely on your delightful newborn, allowing you to remember them as your tiny bundle, for years to come.
